Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Create clear and well-structured test cases, test scenarios, and checklists
  • Execute manual test cases and identify functional, UI, and regression defects
  • Log, track, and retest bugs using tools
  • Perform smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA members
  • Participate in sprint meetings, reviews, and defect triage discussions
  • Ensure quality standards are met before every release

Qualifications

BE / B.Tech / ME/ M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related fields with at least 75%

skills

  • Basic understanding of SDLC & STLC and software testing fundamentals
  • Ability to create and execute test cases with clear bug reporting
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Basic knowledge of one programming language (Java / Python / JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, test automation basics, API testing (Postman), and SQL is an advantage
